Michigan's Top Designers Heal Sick Children Through Design
The Suite Dreams Project is excited to announce a very special way for
Michigan's Top Designers to partner with us to work toward our important
mission together through the Designing Angels Campaign.
As many of you know, our mission is to bring comfort and joy to children affected by serious medical conditions by creating healing environments in their homes, in hospitals and in our communities that improve their quality of life and speed recovery. We call upon you now to bring your design expertise - and your goodwill - to many sick children in our community who need our help.
You are invited to sponsor a sick child's bedroom in our community that would involve you personally becoming a 'room captain' heading up a team who will transform the child's bedroom from one that lacks many important healing elements - such as their favorite colors, their favorite artwork, a comfortable bed to sleep in - to a beautiful healing environment that is custom-designed to the child's chosen theme and to the child's unique medical needs.
Your efforts will result in improving a sick child's life in some very dramatic ways! Research compiled by top medical practitioners and experts in the field of healthcare design indicates that an improved quality of day-to-day life achieved through a healing environment has positive cognitive, emotional and physical effects on a patient such as decreased pain, decreased feelings of depression, increased hope and increased socialization - just to name a few.
In addition to knowing what a wonderful difference you are making in a child's life, the Suite Dreams Project will provide you with the following sponsorship benefits:
- Exposure through a full-scale media effort surrounding this special campaign which may include various media outlets.
- Announcement of your participation at our 2008 Hats Off Luncheon, which hosts over 450 women in our community.
- Exposure through the Suite Dreams Project website, which receives an average of 5000 visits per month.
- Recognition in a 2008 Suite Dreams Project newsletter, which has a projected circulation of approximately 5000 affluent households and corporate partners combined.
