The Suite Dreams Project is a unique and innovative program of the General
Sports Foundation, a Michigan non-profit organization. Our mission is to bring
comfort and joy to children affected by serious medical conditions by creating
healing environments in their homes, in hospitals, and in our communities that
improve their quality of life and speed recovery.
We primarily focus our services on children and families in low and moderate income urban areas by transforming their bedrooms and other areas of their homes into beautiful healing spaces where they can rest and recover.
The Project utilizes the assistance of designers, artisans and volunteers to create these unique environments complete with healing elements specific to the needs of each sick child. We assist in procuring any furniture, materials and equipment necessary to create the "suite" of each child's dream.
To bring joy to the lives of as many of these children as we can is literally a dream for us. We are very excited about the potential of the Suite Dreams Project, and we look forward to bringing our concept into the nation's top pediatric hospitals and children's homes across the country.
