CARE House #3 - Kristen Plautz/Sandy Brincat Project

Suite Dreams partners with CARE House of Oakland County to help family's get a new start after physical, emotional, and/or sexual abuse of a child. For privacy reasons we do not share the family name or photos of the individuals but we do want to showcase the transformation of the homes and the hearts and souls of the volunteers that make it all happen. Two long time supporters of The Suite Dreams Project are Kristen Plautz and Sandy Brincat who asked us if they could take on a project this past year. They went so far above and beyond what was asked of them and transformed and organized the entire home from top to bottom. With the help of so many friends and family volunteers they worked tirelessly for four days straight creating three bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, laundry room, and bathroom as well as freshening the backyard space and the front entry way, that welcomed this family home to peace, beauty, and a fresh start. The goal is to try to recreate a home and fade out the memories of the spaces where the abuse took place. It was truly amazing to watch all that was going on at this home over that long weekend! They were all rockstars and the family was beyond appreciative! These CARE House projects have been very impactful for the families to try to start anew!
